These terms govern your use of the Readcue Chrome extension and service.

The product

Readcue is a Chrome extension that looks up selected text on a web page. You need a Readcue account for lookups.

Daily limit

Your account can complete 50 successful lookups per UTC day. The limit resets at 00:00 UTC. Failed lookups do not count. The extension shows the reset time in your device's local time.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the lookup API, scrape it, or use it to generate content unrelated to understanding the page you are reading. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that hit the per-minute cap in a way that looks automated.

Availability

Lookups depend on the Readcue API and upstream models. The service may be slow, incomplete, or unavailable.
